I have over 20 years helping individuals, couples, and families in the Washington, D.C. area.
My greatest reward as a therapist is being able to help individuals, families, and couples make changes in their lives that help them grow. I believe everyone can benefit from having someone to talk to who will listen and accept us as we are without judgment.
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, a licensed mental health counselor, and a qualified counselor supervisor in the District of Columbia. I have a Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision, a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling, and a certificate in marriage and family therapy.
To create a safe, open environment where we can work together to meet your therapeutic goals.
I utilize a philosophy of therapy called “Collaborative Care,” which is working together with you to identify specific treatment goals. We will work to utilize your strengths and knowledge in conjunction with the strengths and experience that I bring as a therapist to achieve your goals.
In my experience, individuals, families, or couples seek counseling when they have attempted many solutions on their own but have not yet achieved their desired results. Therapy is most effective when professional help is combined by the individual’s efforts and desires for results.
